    Hi,

A customer purchased an order with 2 items.

After that, he requested to refund the items (first one and then the other).

A day after that, he decided to keep everything so we requested both refunds cancellations from Stripe dashboard. The result is the Woo order only reflecting one of the refunds (while both are correctly refunded on Stripe *confirmed by their team).

I attach a couple of images of the Woo order and the item that appears not to be refunded hoping it helps to understand the situation better and help you work on the fix.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Thanks for sharing those screenshot although I’d just like to make sure we’re all on the same page. From my understanding, the sequence of events here are:

    1. Customer purchase 2 items in a single order.
    2. 1 item is refunded
    3. The remaining item is refunded
    4. Both refunds are cancelled in stripe
    5. Woo order only shows a refund for 1 item

Is that an accurate summary of (1) events, and (2) what you’re seeing on your store?

Assuming that’s correct, can you share a bit more on what you’re expecting to see? I’m asking as this screenshot is referencing 3 items (I’m not sure where the 3rd item is coming into play).

Finally, please include a copy of status report as found under WooCommerce > Status: We’d like to get a better understanding of how your site is configured along with versions numbers.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    You got the sequence right.

Regarding to the units of one of the items (3 units), I don’t think it is relevant but basically it is like product A = 1 unit and product B = 3 units. Refunded whole product A and then refunded whole product B.

Right now, I’m unsure why, the second refund appears correctly on the Woo order.

Maybe it is because the Stripe API somehow triggered the info later or maybe some WP task scheduling thing?

Anyway, there’s nothing to solve right now because it solved itself somehow.

    Thanks for the help anyway.

    Cheers!
