Add E-Mail as Author to Post

    Hi – me again,

    I have a field with an e-mail address in the csv.

    Is it basically possible to add this email address as Author for the created Post?

    Hi @mikkelcrunch,

    Yes, in the “Other Post Options” section you can import the email into the “Post Author” field. It will attempt to find an existing user with the email and assign that user as the post author.

    Ok thanks,

    but a user has to be already in the System, right? It is not possible to create an Author based only on the E-Mail Address. As I’m writing this – I realize, it is not ??
