Hello LiteSpeed Cache team!

I have recently started using you plugin in my wordpress blog. I read a few articles, followed the instructions on your website, etc. and somehow customised the plugin to improve the speed of my blog (tested on PageSpeed Insights). It went from a miserable 40 ish to a 89 or more depending on the page of the blog.

I have now two questions:
- Using this page as an example (https://scriccia.com/ricetta-dei-baklava/) the only thing that seems it would need fixing is the Total blocking time (400 ms). Diagnostics reports Minimise main-thread work with 3.4 s, (see report: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-scriccia-com-ricetta-dei-baklava/b4h10unlhi?form_factor=mobile). How can I improve it?
- I read that in order to test the speed of my page I should disable Guest optimization because it can mask other problems of the website. Indeed, if I remove Guest optimization the speed score drops to 74 (https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-scriccia-com-ricetta-dei-baklava/mzabiw4mz4?form_factor=mobile). So I am very confused now. Which is the actual score that I should consider to understand how much more optimization my blog needs? 89 with Guest optimization ON or 74 when it is OFF?

Hello LiteSpeed team,

Just an update on my case. In the last couple of days I have been playing around with the plugin a lot, and it looks like the minimise main-thread work for the page above is now within the pagespeed limit (with guest optimization on).

However some pages still have that warning. For example this page: https://scriccia.com/riso-per-sushi-facile-veloce-e-soprattutto-perfetto/.

How can I bring down that value too?

Ohh that’s a shame! Maybe food for thoughts for a future version? ??

I have a additional unrelated question. If I need to I can open a new thread.

In google analytics, I have noticed a surprisingly high proportion of direct accesses since after using your plugin. Googling around I found someone suggesting to add https://google-analytics.com/analytics.js into Localization files. I did it, but it doesn’t seem to have solved the issue.

Could you please advise?

I will forward it to our dev as feature request

for analytics , I don’t think it has anything to do with being localized or not though.

I think it might be related to Guest Mode, you can try set it off for few days, see what happens.
