    There’s a chrome console error on every page of my site due to this line being inserted site-wide by WP Asset Clean Up:

    <link rel="preload" as="font" href="" data-wpacu-preload-font="1" crossorigin>

    Please advise on how to resolve?

    Thanks.

    @thomastolkien @defdas2 I have a suspicion that there might be either a plugin or a combination of settings in Asset CleanUp that somehow strips from the HTML source the actual font. I’ve updated the development version. It checks even deeper any values from the “Settings”. It will never accept any empty ones.

    Please replace the version you currently use with the development one, and let me know if this fixes it. If not, further debugging will be required. Here’s how to install the development version: https://www.assetcleanup.com/docs/?p=350

    We traced the problem.

    The site(s) involved used system fonts only.

    When this setting “Apply?font-display:?CSS property value” is set to ‘swap most used’ or ‘auto’ this issue is as described.

    When this setting “Apply?font-display:?CSS property value” is set to “do not apply” the issue resolves.

    @thomastolkien can you share here the URL to your website? I would like to check the way the fonts are loaded. If you are not comfortable sharing the URL here, you can do it privately: https://www.gabelivan.com/contact/

    Hi @gabelivan

    Any updates on this issue? Have you managed to find a solution apart from the workaround below:

    When this setting “Apply?font-display:?CSS property value” is set to “do not apply” the issue resolves.

    Thanks
