Category filter relationship not working

I have configured a filter on my page to filter the categories (hierarchical) of the products. The filter works as if it was using the “OR” setting, but it is set to “AND” in the plugin’s settings, which is how I need it to work. Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you and have a good day!
