Issue with Excluding Headings in [ez-toc]

    Dear Support Team,

    I am currently experiencing an issue with the [ez-toc] plugin on our website. I am trying to exclude certain headings from appearing in the table of contents, but it seems that the exclusion feature is not working as expected. Below are the details:

    1. Shortcode: [ez-toc]
    2. Page URL: https://www.arbeitsrechte.de/kuendigung/
    3. Issue: The exclusion of specific headings is not functioning as intended. Despite configuring the settings to exclude certain headings, they are still being displayed in the table of contents.

    Conversely, with the old [toc] shortcode, used on another page (https://www.arbeitsrechte.de/arbeitslosigkeit/) of the same website, the exclusion of headings is working correctly.

    Could you please investigate this issue and provide a solution or guidance on how to resolve it?
