My Theme Changed

  • So I did a lot of work to get my blog to match the look and style of my website. I went to the blog today and it looks like I didn’t do anything! I looked at the .css files through my ftp client and they all say they were modified on 12-2-2010 at 11:17 am, as well as many other files in my blog folder. I haven’t touched anything! Can anyone tell me what might have happened or give me any ideas on how I can restore this to the way it was before? Thank you.

  • Do you have any backups?

    I have known situations where hosting companies have had server problems and restored their last backup of client folders back onto the system. It is well worth checking with them to see if they have any comments on that front.

    Have you had no interaction with the files today? If not I would also ask my hosting provider about any ftp activity. Clearly if you haven’t done anything at all and the files have changed then the host is the first place to start.
