HI, im using magepeople taxi plugin, they said its not issue on there side, when u book online andd go to checkout page it only shows option to pay by card

I just tested this on your site and I can confirm I don’t see payment methods available. As a quick test, can you try setting up a default WooCommerce product to test if the Cash on Delivery (COD) option works fine? This would allow us to learn more if the issue is with the payment option or with the custom products from the taxi plugin you’re using.

Additionally, just to be sure, have you enabled the “Accept for virtual orders” check on the COD settings? Maybe this would work. I see this plugin doesn’t add regular products to WooCommerce but uses a custom Transportations post type. This may be the cause for the COD not showing.

Testing first with a default WooCommerce product will bring more light into this. Please let us know!

To confirm, the clients do get an email when they pay with credit cards?

Can you please add a test product on your website, a simple default WooCommerce product, and run a test order with Cash On Delivery to see if the issue persists?

yes emails are being delayed or not sent when tried with simple product by adding in woocommerce got instant email only for card payment.
No email recevied on cash payment.
For taxi booking: no email sent for both card or cash.

Hi @joey006! I’m happy to learn the Virtual Orders settings did the trick!

I’m curious to learn more about why the emails aren’t being sent. I understand orders with default WooCommerce products and paid by Credit Card are sending emails. Can you confirm that you received both the admin and the customer emails? Can you double-check this with the COD option and the Email logger plugin active?

Regarding emails for the Taxi booking plugin I understand they’re not working in any scenario, correct? (Even though the logger says they were sent?).

If possible, can you try all four type orders (WooCommerce simple with COD and CC, and Taxi with COD and CC) and check with the mail logger plugin as well as double checking on your inbox for both the admin and customer emails?
