Yesterday, I changed some things on my home page, and only now do I notice that I lost the header on that page. It is (or: was and should be) the same as on the other pages: logo on the left, search field and to the right the menu.

I thought, I could just add the header block/template/pattern, but cannot find that anywhere… For now, I have ‘manually’ added the menu. Could also add columns and put in logo and seach widget – but isn’t this defined together as the Header…?!

It’s some time since I created these pages, and I cannot remember how I did it in the first place.

Help on getting the header back on the home page would be appreciated!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Most of the time, I get responses on my questions pretty soon – not so on this question… cannot imagine it is a hard one for experienced WP-ers? Maybe it is too obvious? If so, maybe someone could point me to the documentation on how to edit the header?

    Thanks again!

    Hi @auitje

Thanks for your patience! We’re doing our best to help everyone as quickly as possible.

I’ve taken a look at the site link you shared and compared the Home page header with other pages. The Home page header is different from the header on the other pages. If you want the Home page header to be the same like the header on other pages, you can try any of these:

    • If there were previous versions of the template used for the Home page, you’ll find?a revisions?link. This is helpful for restoring previous changes made without resetting the template entirely. ?In the site editor, upper right corner, click Settings and select?Revisions?to compare revisions and restore to a particular revision.
    • If revisions is not available, open the template used for your pages, copy the header from there and paste in the site editor Home page and save.

For documentation on editing the header, please check these guides:

Thanks – going back to a previous revision was helpful.
