    As a freelancer, I purchased this plugin for a client who wanted to create her own image galleries. Modula worked well for the task, but the abundance of options was a bit overwhelming for my client. It’s best to set up the gallery yourself or create a template gallery that can be duplicated and edited, making it easier for clients to manage.

    The installation process wasn’t straightforward and took some time to figure out. I had to uninstall and reinstall the plugin to get it fully functional. However, the overall experience was positive, and when I reached out to support, they were friendly and helpful.

    In summary, Modula is a great tool, but the extensive options might be initially frustrating for you or your client. It would be helpful if they offered different views—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—so that clients aren’t overwhelmed when they first click the “edit gallery” button. A beginner view could include basic settings like thumbnail size, gallery type, thumbnail gap, pagination type, and color. Just my thoughts.

    Overall I would say that it could be more user friendly especially with the install, set up, and explanation of what an upgrade includes. I upgraded, then it did not work, then I had to uninstall and reinstall the plugin to get everything working. I looked at the site and it did not clearly state that I would get the slider gallery with the upgrade, so after upgrading I was confused, spent time researching, finally uninstalled and reinstalled and the new upgraded features started working.

    In the end, the friendly and helpful tech support was such a relief—they truly made the experience a pleasant one. However, I’m not sure about their response times or if they tend to reply only during the night (for my timezone). It would be helpful if they could provide more information on this.
