failed payment shows as validated

Hello, I have a problem for recuring paiements, when there is not enough money on the card and the payment is declined, it still showes as paid on the membership account and it is prolounged for the next period.
- Can I try again to retrieve the paiement?
- The subscription is renewed and if I don’t verify the person keeps their whole access until I know they didn’t actually pay. How can I have the right information in the member account?
I use a plugin from a local bank, so your help is really needed to understand why this error occurs.
