I am using the plugin to translate Elementor templates from Italian to English, but I am having problems with the translation of the footer template. For each language, I have created a footer template that includes menus and text. The menus do not cause any issues, but the text is not being switched from one language to another; the English text (which should be considered as the secondary language in this case) is always displayed. I have followed both procedures suggested in the plugin documentation, namely creating the footer template for the secondary language from the Elementor editor settings or alternatively creating the footer template from the theme builder and then assigning the two templates using the standard assignment option in Polylang. As a temporary solution, I have adopted using a single footer template in which I have inserted all the necessary Elementor widgets for both Italian and English. Then, I managed the display for the front-end using the “Language Visibility” option in the advanced settings of each individual Elementor widget.

This last solution has proven effective for my case, but it is clear that this is quite an inconvenient method, pending further clarification on the reported issue.
