we’ve encountered an issue with the latest WordPress update (WP 6.6.1). Specifically, the ability to edit the Meta Title and Meta Description for our pages has disappeared. While these fields are visible in the page’s source code when checked through Google Search Console, they are set as hidden input types.

This issue has affected all the websites we manage. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Could you please look into this problem and provide a solution?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi @alex8686

I am sorry to learn that the ability to edit the Meta Title and Meta Description for our pages has disappeared on your site.

For us to better understand the issue, can you please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing?

You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

    Hello Mushrit,

I also have a problem with the metatitle and meta description fields. I entered text in these fields, but when I save the post, the text disappears.

I checked the old posts, and the meta description and meta title are all gone.

I have 2 other sites, and there are no problems on these other sites.

And on this site where this problem is occurring, I have 2 subsites on it, but there are no problems on these subsites. The problem is only on the main site. This is strange.
