Hello! I am struggling with probably something really simple. I want to add Meta Tags to my website. I have been using Kenta Creato so far and just cant figure out how to add the meta tags to the head of my website. I can’t even find the header.php even via my WebFTP. I’m really not super knowledgeable on this so im really stumped on how to set this up!

    Hello there,

Can you provide a link to your website and some screenshots to describe your problem in detail? Please let me know where you would like to add meta tags.

    Thanks.

Hi! So to summarize, I want to add meta info to my site so when I link it in Discord/other places, it shows up with a small text, image, etc., instead of elements from the website. Here’s a screenshot of what I mean:

So I need to add these meta tags to the head of my page, which worked fine in the first website since the theme had an accessible header.php file I was able to edit. I cannot find the equivalent of that PHP file for the Kenta Creato theme

I understand that the header file is generated and not something actually present on my server? I might have misunderstood while looking through the theme files, though. Here is the link to the site I want the meta tags to be added to: https://districtzero.yourcupparp.com

I understand but editing header.php is not a recommended way, your changes will be lost with the theme update.

For your needs, there are many plugins in WP.org that provide a better way to do it. we can’t recommend a specific plugin here. Try searching “Header Script” or something similar in the plugin repository.

    Thanks.
