Space between header and body on page

  • I am trying to make a home page with just a header, with menu, and then slider showing pics, without any content on the home page. There seems to be a large space between the header and the pictures. Before I made the background all the same color, you could see a large box surrounding the slider. I have tried reducing the size of the header margins, and that helped a little, and I tried to move the block containing the shortcode for the slider toward the top of the page, but that didn’t work either. I would love to be able to decrease the distance between the slider and the header by 50%. Any thoughts?

  • Hi @jtcowman,

    If I am not mistaken, you are using Meta Slider plugin to show the images. I suspect the huge space is coming from the plugin. Please try temporarily switch the theme to a default WordPress theme and see whether or not you see the similar. If you do, then please start a new thread on the plugin’s forum to get help with it.
