Hello, I have set up my new domain and would now like to transfer the old data of my images to the new domain.
Where is this old data please?
    Can I simply export it?
    Greetings Daniel

  • It’s stored in wp_postmeta?table of the database, so if you are migrating your database as well it should come across with the images.

    Hi Daniel,

The location of your old image data depends on your setup. If you’re using a content management system like WordPress, the images are usually stored in the /wp-content/uploads/ folder on your old domain’s server. You can export them via FTP or your hosting control panel.

If you’re manually managing your site, check the directory where your images were uploaded. After retrieving the files, you can upload them to your new domain.

Check the image directory on your FTP/local host site. Alternatively, check media library on your WP site. Hope this works out.
