Getting “Your access to this site has been limited by the site owner” and I am the admin.

Also, this client is having everyone on their local wifi randomly blocked from pages.

Seemed to just start happening recently.

Plugin is up to date. Are there some current bugs?

Hi @sdagency, thanks for reaching out.

Seeing a group of users blocked from the same wifi’s external IP might point to somebody being blocked for too many username/password attempts (for example) and causing everybody else there to be blocked, but if it’s including you too from another location I’d certainly look into the possibility that IP detection is wrong. If all users are being detected as the same IP, legitimately issued blocks will result in every visitor being blocked too for a period of time.

You can test IP detection by taking note of your own IP on your current device at?https://www.whatsmyip.org?and head over to?Wordfence > All Options > General Wordfence Options > How does Wordfence get IPs. Reference the area under that section that says?Detected IPs?and?Your IP?with this setting. See if any of the options there when picked accurately reflect your IP. If you do need to change this, don’t forget to hit the?SAVE CHANGES?button in the top-right after you’re done.

Let us know how you get on,
    Peter.
