Highly invasive and resource intensive

  • I often encounter problems on client sites with this extension. It’s a nice Swiss Army knife but it significantly bulks up sites and causes incompatibilities and crashes.
    I usually do without it with 2 or 3 much lighter plugins.

    Jetpack does pack in a lot of features, indeed, and while that can be great for some, it might feel a bit heavy if you only need a few specific tools. The good news is, we offer standalone plugins like Jetpack Protect (for security), Jetpack Backup, Jetpack Search, and Jetpack Social, so you can pick just the ones you need without the extras.

    Also, if you’ve been having crashes or compatibility problems, I’d love to help sort those out. You can always turn off any features you don’t need in Jetpack to keep things running as light as possible.
