Good but slightly misleading

  • On the whole, Polylang is really solid and in my opinion performs better than WPML, but it’s slightly misleading.

    Their blurb for Polylang Free suggests that Widgets are translateable in the free version, but in fact, it’s only legacy widgets (not block widgets) that can be translated. To translate the rest, you need Pro.

    As everything is moving to blocks these days, this means that in fact most widgets are NOT translateable in the free version.
