I am not experienced with using otter blocks but I created this 3 photo menu – each with a button/link using a pre-configured pattern.

I need to know how to insert code on this page via the otter blocks and then use that embed code on my homepage (All HTML – no blocks) to pull up the three photos which are in a row of 3.

As soon as I modify something in classic editor – otter blocks gets finicky and references something about inaccessible/corrupted files and will no longer let me work with or edit the page w/out trying to resolve the corrupted file/page/pattern.

All blocks are finicky about being directly edited through the code editor, we’re expected to only interact via the intended block settings. Directly adding embed code to blocks is almost certainly doomed to failure. But maybe Otter blocks are unique and have some allowable method. I recommend asking in the Otter Blocks dedicated support forum for suggestions.

If you need to utilize embed codes, you’re likely better off using the Custom HTML block and applying additional CSS to achieve the layout you’re after.

    Thank you for your response.

The page I did using Otter Blocks (with an incorporated pattern) came out perfectly.

I just need to embed code in that page and then retrieve it to my landing/home page.

I made sure that the mods I did the last time around were only done in Otter Blocks as it does not like classic editor input and that basically destroys the Otter Blocks formatting.

So all was done in Otter Blocks.

I did manage to do one sloppy embed with a different plug-in, but it did not insert the container/pattern alone but rather the entire webpage (total screen shot with URL Bar, etc.) with a vertical scroll bar.

So I do not need to touch the otter blocks coding – that is done and it looks sweet – now I just need to figure out how to insert a code so that an embed code on my homepage just pulls up the content of the webpage with dimensions specified.

So you can create an embed code in otter blocks than can be pulled up on non-otter-blocks landing page – it just looked sloppy as heck.

I need to know what to specifically embed in the otter blocks page, where to embed it and then how to plug it in to my home page to be picked up and inserted there at a pre-selected position.

    Thank You

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/otter-blocks/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
