IDs used in ARIA and labels must be unique

  • Hi.

    As Astra embed both desktop and mobile headers, if you add a research field in the header, it is duplicated and generating and Aria issue in page speed and others: IDs used in ARIA and labels must be unique.

    Any way to deal with it?

    In fact, it is the mobile menu that generate the duplicate headers. Possible to have the mobile menu (burger menu) also in the desktop version?

    Actually, that’s how Astra Header Builder works. It will generate two Header markup. One for the Desktop Header and the other for the Mobile Header.

    I assume you referred to PageSpeed Insights.

    Would you mind sharing your site URL, so we can test your site and have better look for the Aria issue you mentioned?

    Hi Herman,

    I disabled at this time the mobile menu, I also suspect it to be an INP troubleshooter, and the trouble disappeared.

    So I could share you the URL but you won’t see the Aria duplicate problem.

    I probably will re-enable the mobile menu in the future, but I’m waiting to see if the INP is decreasing without it.
