    So I’m attempting to set this up to sell steam keys. I created a product per the direction, put in a key (just a fake one for testing) linked it all up, it showed 1 key available, set the price to 0 and made the purchase.

    It hasn’t worked at all. The dashboard doesn’t show a sale (woocommerce shows an order for it) the key database shows the key as available and unused, the order itself shows the key in the order, but it hasn’t sent it.. I’ve just noticed now that 12 minutes after selling the first transaction (I tried it twice) that it’s saying the key has been sold, but it let me make a second purchase 8 minutes ago on the same key (only 1 key there). No e-mail has come out, e-mail is working on the site.

    am I missing something setting this up?

    It sounds like you’re experiencing a few issues with key delivery. To ensure the key is delivered properly, the order status must be set to “Completed.” You can also adjust the plugin settings to allow key delivery in the “Processing” state, which might help if you’re testing transactions.

    1. Check Order Status: After making a purchase, make sure to manually change the order status to “Completed” in WooCommerce if it doesn’t do so automatically.
    2. Plugin Settings: Go to the plugin settings and look for an option that allows key delivery during the “Processing” order status. Enabling this might resolve your issue for testing purposes.
    3. Test Again: After making these adjustments, try purchasing the key again and see if it delivers correctly.

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting back so quickly. Unfortunately that still doesn’t work. I checked the box for processing and it does indeed mark the key sold immediately, but still doesn’t send it. I also tried manually completing the order and that doesn’t get it to send the key. I’ve checked the account we have that sends e-mails and it’s not in its sent folders (other e-mails from today are) and the account e-mail hasn’t received the e-mail with the key either.

    You can try one more step to resolve the key delivery issue:

    1. Manual Delivery Setting: Check if the “Manual Deliver” option is turned?On?in the plugin settings. If it is, turn it?Off?and save the settings. If it’s already?Off, still hit the save button to ensure the settings are properly updated in the database.
    2. Test Coupon: Create a test coupon that gives a 100% discount. Then, order the product using this coupon code. Sometimes, ordering without payment can cause key delivery issues, but using a free coupon should work.

    As far as I can tell there isn’t a manual delivery setting. Only “Auto Key Delivery Send the key to the customer automatically after payment.” and that is enabled.

    I set the price of the item to a non zero value and gave myself a 100% off coupon. I created a new key and purchased it, and nothing has been sent.
