gutenberg blocks – cap links

  • I like working with the gallery blocks.
    See the attached page with a link to the a cart page for each image.
    The problem with the gallery is that the link only works of the top portion of the image
    as the gallery caption obscures the action of the link on the bottom half.
    I’m sure most viewers will find this out, but some may think the link is not working.
    Is there a solution to this or a CSS code that would fix it.?
    Any help of suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • The strange click area is caused by the fact that you have inserted a color gradient below the gallery. However, this overlays the link because the link is in the HTML within the element to which the color gradient is assigned.

    I am not sure where you defined the color gradient because I cannot see it through your optimization plugin. If you wrote it yourself, I would recommend attaching the color gradient to the link rather than to the figure element. That would solve the problem quickly.
