Turnstile + poor INP performance (Web Vitals)

    We observe an increase in INP values of ~150ms when enabling turnstile for mobile users.

    Considering the <200ms INP Core Web Vitals target, this is significant.

    Turnstile has an option to render explicitly (ie. only trigger turnstile for users who interact with a form). This would significantly improve INP ratings for the 90% of users who don’t interact with forms.

    Food for thought.
