• If the plugin works as expected then there is no problem, is a nice plugin and it improves the performance of the site very well. The problems comes when you have any kind of problem with the plugin, because the support team is inexistant. I have sent three support requests and I have not received any reponse from their side. I have paid $99 and what I receive is just the feature to enable the Fragments Cache, but the PRO support is null.
The plugins have several bugs like for example the malfunctioning “clean all caches” button (at least with Redis as backend) which does nothing, and even the PRO feature “Fragment Cache” was broken with Redis in a past version (nice testing). Even I am trying to use the plugin in PRO mode on mi DEV environments, and there is no way because the instructions of the site are not working. It just says that the key is already registered and to add the W3TC_PRO_DEV_MODE option to the wp-config.php does the same as the clean all caches button: nothing.

To be honest, the above experiences doesn’t makes me to want to renew the PRO features once they are finished. Even more, they push me to try another plugins with more people behind to help you if you have any problem.

    Hello @msdanixu

I am sorry about the experience you’ve had with the W3 Total Cache.
Since I am unable to find any support requests from you (no email just a nick) It would be great if you could send the support request via the W3 Total Cache support channel, via the plugin in Performance>Support or via the website contact form and let me know the issues you are experiencing.
Please provide the information about your subscription so we can also check the activation for the dev environment.

There may be cases that we have not received some of your emails or you missed our replies due to the inbox configuration (sometimes replies end up in the SPAM folder)

I’ve just tested the Clean all caches button, with DIsk, disk: Enhanced. Redis and Memcached, with APC as an option also, adn the the cache is purged and the content is updated.

We are expecting the support reuqest from you so we can assist you with any issues and fix any problems you have with the configuration.

Once again, I am sorry about any inconvenience.

    Thanks!

    Hello, thanks for your response.

The support request were done using the option that you say. I have not put too much effor looking at the spam folder, but from time to time I take a look and I have not seen any response there.

About the license, after trying several ways and with patience (some tests were not working at the first, second, third… attempt, and a time later magically they have worked fine), I have managed to deactivate the license on our PRE environment and activate it in our PRO environment, keeping the PRE and QA environments in “PRO DEVELOP” mode. I still now knowing how I have done it, because the last time I have tried to do it I was not able to enable the “PRO DEVELOP” mode in QA.

    Best regards.
