[Plugin: User Access Manager] I can't see special characters with my theme

Theme: Kinetic (Granty them from rockettheme.com)
WP: 3.0.2
UAM: 1.1.4When UAM is activated, I can’t see the special characters (′, `, ?, etc.). That happens with Kinetic them only. If I change the theme to default WP theme, all works fine. And if I deactivate UAM, Kinetic theme wotk fine.
Any idea about what can I do?
