I am in the process of creating a website for a collector. Although the products are not for sale, I am nevertheless working with WooCommerce. The theme used is Divi and the layout is built from ACF fields. ACF fields are used because a bulk import will be used.

I am using WordPress’ categories to attach the different types of objects (ashtrays, envelopes, pottery, etc.) to a Divi layout. The client wants to use tags (‘wrongly’) for findability.

On the mentioned page, I still need to add the following 3 properties: material, colour and shape.

I want those properties to be clickable, so that if the material is wood, and the visitor clicks on it, he will see all objects made of wood. A bit like product and blog categories and tags.

I however don’t know how to do this with ACF Fields. Making it clickable might be possible with https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/themify-wc-product-filter/. But then I still don’t know how to get product variants in ACF fields.

    Many thanks in advance.
