I’m trying to build rosters straight from my Woocommerce checkout page. Can I incorporate your shortcodes into a Woocommerce checkout page?

What I’m envisioning is a person completes the form on the checkout page … putting the Participant’s name and what class they’ll be in. It will then populate in the appropriate roster once the order is submitted successfully.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

While it is likely possible to place the signup shortcode on a checkout page (this is more of a question for WooCommerce, I think you need to make a custom template to do it) the problem is there is no way to link filling in the signup form to the checkout process, also, the signup form will require that the form be submitted (thus refreshing the page), and that could interfere with the checkout, which also requires a submission.

What I would suggest you do is place the signup form on the “checkout thanks” page (whatever Woocommerce calls the page you go to after successfully making a payment) so only people who have paid will be able to fill out the signup form. (assuming this is what you want) The problem with that could be there’s no way to force them to do it. But the upside is it’s easy to do…linking the signup submission with the WooCommerce checkout is not simple, if you have coding skills it is possible, though.

If you don’t have a big volume of people to process, you can add extra fields to the WooCommerce checkout (you need a plugin or custom code for this) and then if they skip filling out the signup form after paying, you can do it for them with the info provided to the checkout.
