PHP Deprecated: The block_categories hook is deprecated

  • When trying to edit or create a new page or post the page goes blank and the error that is recorded in the log is: PHP Deprecated: The block_categories hook is deprecated since version 5.8.0! Use block_categories_all instead. in …wp-includes/functions.php on line 6085.
    I haven’t found a cause, I deleted all the information from the server and performed a new clean installation without plugins, themes or information, I even changed servers and I still get the same problem. My website is hosted on Hostinger, and apparently on the server everything is correct PHP 8.2.
    The problem only occurs when trying to create a new page or post.

    You can’t have WordPress without a theme.

    What theme are you using?

    I’m sorry for my mistake, what I meant was that I did not install any third-party theme, currently the entire website is there, which presents the same problem as the new installation, the actual website has Blocksy theme

    What is the URL of the site with the problem using the default theme? The site you linked to is using Blocksy.

    Also, what version of WordPress did you install?

    I cannot reproduce the issue with WordPress 6.6.2 using no plugins and the Twenty Twenty-Four theme.
