We do support WPBakery, but not in the extent we support Elementor, ie. we don’t have custom site / section templates for WPBakery or custom plugins with additional options. The reason behind is quite simple honestly. Once page builders started emerging, Elementor offered most features and capabilities, so it’s just a matter of convenience and the majority of users’ choice. That doesn’t mean things won’t change in the future ??
On the other hand, with WPBakery and custom templates usage support by OceanWP (for example, custom header or footer), you can still achieve everything like you would do with any other page builder.
Yesterday we launched a new version, so we sincerely hope you’ll be satisfied with the new improvements. Of course, once you test, backup and decide to update, since this is a core theme update we have been announcing for 2 months now. In case you do encounter problems in the testing phase, you would really help us a lot by sharing all details (system info, steps to replicate) on the forum.
