    Hi,

I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing that. Please make sure there is no other theme/plugin conflict by following the steps provided here https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1112-theme-doesnt-work-as-expected-troubleshooting-guide

    Kind regards,

    Rodica

Can you add support for the blocksy theme ? I went to switch my theme to one of the default ones and it worked. Would it be possible to add support for the blocksy theme?

    Hi,

The issue is that I can’t replicate this. I’ve tried with Blocksy https://vertis.d.pr/i/e7PBy4 but there is no issue with LightStart https://vertis.d.pr/i/61nsoA.

Maybe you can check if there is another plugin that is causing this, in combination with Blocky?

    Thank you!

Do I need to have otter blocks installed to use this because that might be the problem as I don’t want that plugin just to use this one.

    Hi,

Allow me to share some insights about why Otter Blocks is necessary to be installed: to make sure you get the most out of LightStart, we prepared some engaging, ready-to-use templates using the Otter Blocks. The connection between LightStart and Otter Blocks is included in the?Plugin Documentation.

    Kind regards

Unbelievable! I myself prefer to create my own page from scratch but now I have more to add to the site. Why on earth did you not bother to think that some people might not want to have to install otter blocks just to use a plugin.

I would have preferred a solution or an acknowledgement on if you would at least consider this idea as I can see a lot of others agree to this.

    Hi @infernoprime,

You can remove the Otter plugin if you don’t want to use the pre-made templates and would rather use your own. The plugin will work the same way whether or not you have Otter installed. Otter is just an add-on that provides free, ready-to-use templates for users.

    I hope this helps!
