I want to exclude posts and pages from purge cache. Only to purge pagination when publishing, starting from the home page/2 and pagination of categories (archives) or to do it with manual/cron purge. For sites with active content with 100k-200k+ posts, purge the entire cache is too expensive.

Maybe there is some rule or plugin setting that could help?

The plugin only purges cache when content is published or updated. That’s the default settings. Also pagination upto 10 pages are also purged automatically.

All that is updated when I publish is the home page, I have to purge the entire cache to see new posts starting from page 2, and that’s 200k+ posts. By the way, the function to purge the cache only for this page doesn’t work for me and it seems that when I update a post from published to draft, it is still available in the frontend, I also have to purge the entire cache to update the post.

It would be great if we had more parameters for purge cache. Or some to exclude when purge.

That is odd as the home page as well the 10 paginated pages are auto-purged when creating or updating a post.
