Are you using a shortcode for this? If so, what is the shortcode that is being generated for your gallery?

Hi thanks for the quick response
I have now tried both and same issue

    [photogallery type='google' view='albums' filter='ALprq-pWl7dDXndc2s9iqVrurUSsYrMQmGKy2TWkhH40DovTdZtkpt9yaZs_b1dg3I-RRqJfXb9E,ALprq-oMufQsKGDlE0vRD10E-dcj_P9QmqvHCdGMt-niteuoNAQ8ZUZrhIP-0RuxklS1Oh0i8O1b,ALprq-q-UrFJVMd-f3rVR4tspLKF0HADkmaTxA1xF79s02MvBUaLxp5yK_d5zxS0Tr6sMFz9tB7Z,ALprq-rNn2mou49R7kHbGDH9QNtxbqHMy5ufisZlgVKJrahX_I0s7x9k3CjOFd0ceAfiUAlf1_ZG,ALprq-ogSsnZ5uXlW4ntg5kXfWuEr7gcp7bA0FwvVaibjtTS_i7Dwwx_Km8TaI_Amwv7B_VX8Alk,ALprq-oH3jSRYTNgKTXDBjT2mu8TLXjfL9sftyFcpux6tih1BatpurKxEkL40vu1PqDvqnIyYG3u,ALprq-pIb2nCnJsjDAmAdlPweaVJcdRJJa7VPBNjsGk1Ah76piUkee_cxq6JNDhKST1an7Z7P0-x,ALprq-rc5_1LJ8C0_zGRpcSKNjhKS73t_VyiyieublwNefr9eP83uk1oTSp6BbHF22E7qlyGpUUK,ALprq-oHZw8DEHsOs_yeVXU7w-Hs0juKmIK3e8dZgz_FCjelFDEcA3gZOAATesrR8aOe07H2XyZq,ALprq-q6nppVsRTAsPUCbKUC1NnQowQrv9-Z4ofegcX6r8Eq0hNPmf-tMjgNUcexCWArANAKD4eK,ALprq-oUvg1g3ZLO1lQnEO_pGdfuf5gIqSTso8WEcwledOREqpdh98ySKmSbWRFVgdKevngU-1OQ' access='all' crop_thumb='crop' columns='auto' title_position='below' main_size='1600' thumb_size='150' layout='square']

I am seeing neither the shortcode nor any gallery markup on your site – that means that there is no request being made to Google, and the shortcode is being altogether ignored. Normally that would happen if you had another plugin using the gallery shortcode, but you seem to be using a different shortcode altogether. Are you sure you have updated the post with the new shortcode?

If yes, can you try an alternative?

    [photogallery type='google' view='albums' access='all' crop_thumb='crop' columns='auto' title_position='below' main_size='1600' thumb_size='150' layout='square']

This is basically the same shortcode, but will show all albums. If this works, we can try troubleshooting the original issue.

OK – so, here are a few things:

    • Google’s API caps the album count at 50. You are getting 49, which is close, and I am guessing that this is happening due to something in Google itself. There is no way to specify a higher limit to fetch more albums in one shot.
    • To show more albums, you simply need to add a parameter to your shortcode, more="Show More", and it will show you a button with the text, “Show More”. The Wizard offers you this option via the “More” button setting. Once you click on the button, additional albums will show up. The button will continue showing up until the entire list is displayed.
    • Now, back to your original query with the filters, my guess is that the albums in your filter were beyond the first 50. If you wish to show them, you need to do a few things:
      • First, you need to enable “Query chaining”, via Photonic → Settings → Google Photos → Google Photos settings → Chain Queries.
      • Next, set the more parameter as well as count=50 on the shortcode.

This should, hopefully, work for you.
