format {{today}} to compare

Hi everybody,

don’t know 100% whether I’m correct in this forum. If not would be great if anybody con move it to the correct one – thanks!
I have a problem with comparing a custom field (plugin: “Advanced Custom Fields”).
The field:? “veroeffentlichen_zeitpunkt”? defined as? “Date Picker” (attached : Pic 1 – advanced field.png).

Now I want to check with actual date whether the post should be shown or not.
Therefore I compare a.m. field with {{today}}?? ( attached : Pic 2 – check-logic.png)

These function has been running well for some time but since – sorry I don’t know which update – it doesn’t work longer and all posts are shown.

My idea is that’s related to different formats between {{today}} and “date-picker”.

You can see the “veroeffentlichen_zeitpunkt” in attached (Pic 3 – screen-sample.png) at left button and right top you see {{today}}.

My question now – is there any way to define {{today}} in another way, so it fits to date-picker format? I found nothing about that in the internet, therefore I hope someone here in this forum can help me or has an idea.
