Suddenly no line breaks?

I’d sort of like either the answer to this or a quickie fix – though my problem is a bit different: I have various themes installed, using the theme switcher, all of the themes but one display simple “enter” newlines just fine – but Taft does not display the paragraph style double newline.

Obviously, if all are working properly but that one, I can’t just “redo” all the posts….

I think this is a different issue. I’m missing line breaks on all templates.

Any ideas?

Line breaks work in my main post but not in the custom fields area. I’ve asked about this on the forums but I’ve not received any response. In my searches it seems that WP uses nl2br to convert line breaks to <br>s and wpautop to convert double lines to proper paragraphs tags. Maybe your theme isn’t using these functions.

I’m still looking for a way to activate these functions for custom fields. Any more advanced users out there that can help?

Edited Later: I actually found the answer I was looking for about an hour after this post and thought it should be noted here for future reference, Turns out that the wpautop or nl2br functions needed to be added to the getcustom plugin I was using to call custom fields.
