• I’ve been using this plugin on two sites for a while with no issue, but all of sudden the product images are coming through blurry when I use the product widget in MailChimp. I haven’t changed any of the plugin settings so no idea why this would be happening. I’ve resynced and played around with the image sizes but nothing works. Please help as this is vital for my client that integration works.

Hi there! hmmmm, you could be experiencing a few things. First things first, if you want to enable remote diagnostic, we can take a look on our side.

    Enable Remote Support:

    • Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Mailchimp in your plugin settings.
    • Activate the remote support option. This allows our support team to perform in-depth diagnostics and understand the underlying issues affecting the sync.

      In meantime,

If product images are coming through blurry when using the product widget in Mailchimp with WooCommerce, consider the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

      1. Image Size Settings: Ensure that you have set the product image size in the Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin. There are options to adjust the size of product images that get synced with Mailchimp. Adjusting these settings may help improve the quality of the displayed images
      2. Testing Different Image Sizes: When testing, check if altering the image size settings in the Mailchimp campaign builder reflects changes. This can solve issues related to image resolution and clarity
      3. Check WooCommerce Image Settings: Ensure that your WooCommerce settings for images are also optimized. Image resolution and size settings within WooCommerce can impact what is sent to Mailchimp.
      4. Syncing Process: Verify that the images have been properly synced from WooCommerce to Mailchimp. Occasionally, if there are problems during the syncing process, images might not be processed correctly
      5. Browser Issues: Sometimes, the blurriness may appear due to browser-specific rendering issues. Clear your browser cache or try a different browser to see if that improves the situation.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may consider contacting support for the Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin for more tailored assistance

I’ve done experimenting with version rollback on 3 separate sites which use this plugin. Any version after 4.2.1 has blurry images, so for now I’ve rolled back to version 4.2.1 which has fixed the issue. However I don’t believe this is a permanent solution as I’d rather not have outdated plugins on my sites.

      Hello there @raggeddesign

Thanks for all the details and the testing you’ve done so far.

Ran some tests on my end and was able to replicate the issue of blurry images in the Mailchimp Campaign builder, and brought these details to the attention to our devs. As soon as we know more on what the resolution will be and how soon it can be implemented we’ll be sure to update this thread.

      Thanks again.

      Hey @raggeddesign

I am having the same issue with my store. How do you change the version back to 4.2.1?

      Hi @jackhcp

I used a plugin called WP Rollback which adds the option to rollback next to the plugin name on the Plugins page. Hope this helps. I resynced after rolling back as well.

      Development update

Our developers have found the root of the issue, and solution is slated to be in our next version release v4.5. While I’m unable to say a exact release date, we can expect it within the coming weeks after proper testing has been completed for this as well as the other changes involved in version 4.5.
