ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE Chrome/firefox

    Hello,

    If I want to download a file from chrome or firefox I have the message: ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE

    It works under safari.

    I tried to:

    • Modify the php version
    • Disable all plugins
    • Disable modsecurity in CPANEL

    I have the https protocol in the settings (and on the site).

    I don’t know what to try anymore

    If you have an idea

    Hi @matthieuj,

    It might be an issue caused by a plugin or your theme.
    I recommend installing this plugin:?https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
    After you install and activate the above plugin it has a?Troubleshooting mode?that allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but?only for your user?– your visitors will still see the normal website.

    Go to its troubleshooting mode and?only activate?Download Monitor?and see if it works correctly with a?default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One for example) and no other plugins.

    Also, I’m having a bit of trouble finding that download on your website. Could you kindly point me in the right direction?

    it was the same but I re-imported a file and it’s ok.

    Hello @matthieuj ,

    Could you please go and edit a Download that does not work, make a screenshot of the edit page and send it to us? Also, could you please let me know where does the file reside ( file path ), and could you please send a screenshot of Downloads > Settings > Advanced > Approved Download Paths?
