The gift card has invalid amount

    I have a page where I sell gift cards for a go-kart track. The idea is for the customer to get a pdf with a photo of the voucher, with a code generated by the system and with a 6 month expiry date. Using Woocommerce I have created several products. Everything worked as it should but it was just a “regular” product and the customer would only get an invoice. That’s why I downloaded YITH Gift cart. In the product settings I changed the product type from “Simple product” to “Gift Cart”. I work exclusively with the Divi theme and its modules. When I made this change so on the page where I had several products in a row and I used the module “Woo Add to Cart” I got the information : ” The gift card has invalid amount ” while I entered the price. When I open or edit a product and view it, the same module is there. When I click on add to cart the product gets added to cart. When I use the same module elsewhere it says ” The gift card has invalid amount”. With the same settings. I don’t understand why I get the information and the unset price.

    Or should I use another solution ? So that the customer can choose a voucher with a fixed price and get a pdf with the information ? Shouldn’t I create the product through Woocommerce first ? But do I need to create something through YITH Gift Cart ?

    thanks for contacting us!

    Unfortunately, we can only guarantee proper functionality with the default WooCommerce features. Since your theme uses custom functions, these may conflict with our plugin.

    It is worth noting that gift card products can only be added to the cart from the product page.

    You can check by activating a default WordPress theme like 2024 to see if the problem is due to an incompatibility with Divi.
