There is a cart error when the Ajax Add to Cart feature is enabled in the Single Product Add to Cart section (under Customize) for Variable Products. It works fine for Simple Products. It seems the bug appeared from the latest 4.0 update recently.

Here is an image of the cart when the Ajax Add to Cart feature is disabled:

The product added includes the variation: Birdseye Suit Jacket – L.

Here is an image of the cart when the Ajax Add to Cart feature is enabled:

The product added only shows the title without the variation: Birdseye Suit Jacket.

I’m experiencing the same issue. All Orders I received since the Update to Ocean WP 4.0 are missing the variation name. Now I have to e-mail all customers and ask which size and colour they have ordered. This is a major problem for variable products and needs to be fixed ASAP.

    Hi @skalanter
Thank you very much for your reply.

Do you think there is a possibility to find the “lost” attributes/variatons from the last orders my customers did on the live page? Otherwise I need to write an e-mail to all the people to ask which variation they wanted.

    Best regards,
    Gori

    Hello @gorisstore,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry again for that trouble.

Unfortunately, because there were no variations added for the product when it was added to your cart in Ajax, so there is no record of that specific item. It might be helpful to contact the customer directly to clarify their order and ensure that the correct product was added.

    Best Regards
