Woocommerce Subscriptions with a Free Tral

    Hi,

    I am just wondering how this plugin works when having a free trial set up with woocommerce subscriptions? What do I need to do?

    What do I need to do?

    You don’t need to do anything extra regarding the Stripe plugin. The plugin knows when the cart has a free trial and runs the appropriate code for that scenario.

    I am referring to the Payment Plugin for Paypal version.

    The PayPal plugin is designed the same way. It detects when a free trial subscription is in the cart.

    Ok great.

    Do I need to create the Subscription plans in Paypal? Or is the subscription managed by Woocommerce Subscriptions?

    The subscription is managed by WooCommerce Subscriptions.

    Make sure you have reference transactions enabled on your PayPal business account. https://docs.paymentplugins.com/wc-paypal/config/#/reference_transactions

    PayPal uses the reference transaction to process the recurring payment.
