Unethical Forking of Plugin = Misappropriation of Credit

I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent forking and rebranding. The ACF plugin, which has proven reliable for many years, is the result of countless hours of dedication and hard work by its ORIGINAL developers.

It is frustrating to see that instead of acknowledging their efforts, Matt has released a near-identical version under a different name. To me it looks like taking credit for work that was done by the original developers. This move undermines the integrity of the development process and discourages future innovation by exploiting the contributions of others. As someone who values collaboration and fair recognition, I find this behavior disheartening. I urge Matt to give proper credit to the original developers and uphold the ethical standards of the development community.
