    Hi Elementor team,

When I limited access to wp-json (WordPress REST API) and put a secret key to verify, Elementor stopped opening the pages.

    Hi @mehdi0121

Thank you for contacting Elementor Technical Support. Elementor Editor communicates with the server over REST API endpoints and uses them for the preview, update, and save process. If the REST API isn’t correctly configured, the Elementor Editor can’t work.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an option where you could insert the secret key, which will then be included in Elementor requests for REST API endpoints. Is there a way for you to exclude Elementor from these limits?

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your answer.

Based on your advice, I excluded Elementor API routes from wp-json and it seems to be working.

    Thanks for your support.
