I am replacing damaged items, using the same order number. I need to purchase another shipping label for an order; this was a simple process with the old plug-in but no way to do it with the new one. Please advise, or ideally, restore the ability to create another shipping label from the same order.

    Hello brandonyoundt

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand you’re looking to purchase another shipping label for a replacement order, but this feature isn’t available in the WooCommerce Shipping plugin due to its effect on stock levels and accounting.

One workaround would be to create a new order and apply a 100% discount, which will keep your stock levels accurate.

A feature request has already been submitted for this functionality.
I encourage you to vote and leave feedback here:

    Best regards.

@zubair: a store owner/manager frequently needs to print a 2nd label for an existing order. We’re also still lacking the ability to print return labels. It’s as if the dev team doesn’t understand how a store works and our daily workflow. It’s nonsense to have to waste time duplicating an order just to print a 2nd label when the feature exists in the previous plugin. There was no impact on stock levels and accounting, so why now?

    Hi @tlawson123,

    Any updates?

A new update was released today, you can take the plugin for a spin to see if this feature was reinstated.

    Thanks.

Shows I am on version 1.3.0. I do not see to create new label. Still says View Purchased shipping label. If I click that it only tells me to reprint or refund the label.

    Hi @tlawson123,

I understand how important the ‘Multiple Shipping Labels For An Order’ feature is for your workflow. This feature was not included in the 1.3.0 (2024-12-10) update, but I assure you it’s on our radar. While we don’t have an exact timeline for its reintroduction, it’s something we hope to bring back in a future update.

I recommend keeping an eye on this feature request page for updates: https://woocommerce.com/feature-request/multiple-shipping-labels-for-an-order/

If you have any other concerns or questions, feel free to reach out.

We greatly appreciate you raising this issue and sharing the feedback about why it is needed. As an update on this request, we are prioritizing the work on this feature and hope to have it available in early 2025, so be sure to look at the changelog when new versions are released.
Since this is actively being worked on, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. However, if you have any other questions, please feel free to create a new post. Thanks!

We frequently have orders that need more than one box with different sizes.
Is this planned and if so, please let us know about when you expect it to be launched.

    Hi @mindykatzen

You should already be able to “split” your shipments into different boxes and purchase separate labels for each as long as you account for all the items in your order across the different shipments.

The issue described here is to purchase additional labels once you have already purchased labels for all items on your order.

    Hi everyone,

I come bearing some good news, we have released 1.4.0, which now allows you to purchase additional labels even after you have fulfilled all the items in the order.

Thanks for everyone’s patience while we worked on this solution.
