Can I return to the old email notification to followers for new posts

Before jetpack, notifications from WordPress to my blog’s followers simply said there was a new post and included the first paragraph.

Now it sends the entire post, which I very much dislike. I often edit and re-edit a post, but these improvements aren’t seen because I can’t edit the emails wordpress sends out that include the entire post.

Is there a way I can turn off the new notification and turn on the old one?
