Variation Dropdown Selector Issue

The reason I’m asking this is that, I visited your store and ran all possible variable options and did not notice this issue happen.

Also, after you noticed this issue, did you already have the chance to test from a different browser? If not, I recommend testing from a different browser to see if this issue persists across all browsers.

Thanks for the video; it really helps! I tested the variations on my end as well and noticed the same issue, where a certain option in the dropdown gets stuck and doesn’t show its contents.

In cases like this, I usually suggest three things: first, check if your plugins and WordPress are updated; second, check with the theme developer if it’s a common issue, I see that you’re using Diamond City by Themes Zone, and third, look for plugin conflicts.

But before you proceed with the third suggestion which is basically a conflict test, could you share your System Status Report so we can review your site’s setup? You can find it by going to WooCommerce → Status, then selecting “Get system report” and clicking “Copy for Support.”

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in here using the “<code>” block. Looking forward to your response.

This information is helpful. It is possible the issue is theme related. Did you already have a chance to run a conflict test as suggested?

If not, I’d recommend running a full conflict test. You can create a staging site to avoid messing with the theme just to test out with a default theme like Storefront and Twenty Twenty-Four. This will help us understand if the issue is theme related or plugin related.

Here are details on how to run a full conflict test.

I have setup a staging site and swapped the theme to a default WordPress and the problem seems to go away. Swapping back to the DiCi theme and it reappears. I have not done a plugin conflict test yet, do you think it is still needed? I don’t know what to suggest regarding the theme causing the problem as it’s a basic variation drop down.

I carried out a plugin conflict. The plugin that causes the dropdown to restyle ‘Advanced Custom Fields PRO’, if I disable it fixes the problem, although does change the theme layout too much to disable, ignoring the fact we use the functionality of the plugin.

By updating the WooCommerce product settings to remove the default value to ‘no default gold carat‘ and ‘no default stamped or hallmarked‘ this seems to fix the problem with the drop down. Thank you for all your help.
