    Hello,

I have a slight problem with my WordPress. I’m using a post grid on my home page and for the posts I set thumbnail images which are 150×150 resolution. The thumbnails are cropped from high quality resolution images but still look very low quality on the main page which will definitely push visitors away. How can I fix this problem?

I would definitely appreciate some help!

    Thank you ??

The image files have the size 150×150, but the output in the frontend is around 250×250, which causes the blurring.

You would have to specify a different size for the images in the settings of “The Post Grid” plugin you are using for this, then the images would no longer be blurred in the frontend. If you have any questions about how to do this, please contact the plugin’s support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/the-post-grid/

The thumbnails are cropped from high quality resolution images but still look very low quality on the main page which will definitely push visitors away.

    That’s because you’re upscaling the 150 x 150 px images and rendering them at 257 x 257 px.

If you want to display thumbnail size of 257 x 257 px, then generate this size.

@threadi Thank you! Indeed they look nicer but is it possible to set them to a certain resolution? Because they are not the same height as you can see.
