    Hello,

    Does your plugin allow for the following:

    Creating a question bank with, for example, 500 questions across 8 different categories. Then, setting up an exam that automatically generates, say, 80 questions from this bank. Additionally, I would like to be able to specify the percentage distribution of questions from each category (e.g., 15% from category 1, 30% from category 2, 10% from category 3, 15% from category 4, etc.).

    Several points are crucial:

    • The exam must be generated automatically based on the percentage distribution from each of the 8 categories.
    • The questions must be randomly selected from the existing question bank.
    • The answer choices must be randomized.
    • After the exam, there should be a final score displayed, along with the student’s name, surname, and some additional personal information.
    • It would be beneficial if a certificate could be added as well.
    • It is essential to have the option to print the entire exam along with the results, as these exams must be submitted to a regulatory office.

    I also need to have three separate exams with three different question banks, each functioning as described above (percentage distribution across 8 categories, random selection of questions, randomized order of answers).

    In the demo version, I was able to check that question banks can be created, but I couldn’t find settings for selecting the number of questions from each category or for randomizing questions and answer order. Are these options available in the paid version? If so, which version includes them?

    Thank you for your topic.

    I’d like to mention that this setup can be achieved using the Quiz Maker plugin.

    First, you can create questions and organize them into 8 different categories.
    Then, create a quiz and add all of these questions to it.

    Next, enable the “Enable Question Bank” option in the quiz’s Settings tab.
    From there, select the “By Category” option to specify how many questions should be pulled from each category.

    Please note that you will need to enter the number of questions, not a percentage, as the system does not work with percentages in this setting.

    Each time when the user refreshes the page, the quiz will take random questions from all the questions you have added to the quiz and will display them.

    To randomize both the questions within categories and the answer options, you can enable the “Enable Randomize Questions” and “Enable Randomize Answers” options in the Settings tab of your quiz.

    We have message variables that can be added both to the result page and to the email if you wish to send an email to the user.
    To find the available message variables, navigate to General Settings > Message Variables.

    Regarding certificates, you can also display a Certificate at the end of the quiz.
    To achieve?your desired result, you can head to the?Quizzes > particular quiz > Results Settings tab > Result Message?option and?insert?the?%%download_certificate%%?into it.

    As to printing the quiz with the results.
    Currently, the plugin doesn’t have such a feature available for usage. The users on the front end can only print and export the quiz and its questions.
    As an alternative, you can check the Results page of the plugin, where you can export the individual result detailed report and all the results of the quiz.
