Mailchimp popup not sending confirmation email

    hi!

    I’ve designed and published your Mailchimp popup and everything works as expected (including adding the contact to my MC contacts) but it never sends the customer a confirmation email. I made sure it was the popup by adding a form I created in MC to my footer for signup and that works as expected. So there’s something about the popup itself that isn’t triggering the email.

    I’ve made sure to connect the API to the settings in RE and included the Recaptcha keys. I’m not running WP SMTP which is what I’m thinking could be the problem (when I did have this, it was causing some issues so I removed it). Does it need to integrate with a mail sender in order to work right? I really do need it to send the welcome email and confirmation email (both set up in MC) using this popup as it includes the coupon code in it.

    Disregard this, I ended up using Mailchimp’s popup form and it worked flawlessly. It could’ve been that you need Elementor Pro as I found a spot within there that wanted the MC API again (NOT in the free version). I had to move on to get this done.
