    Hi @mingewang,

This type of issue only appears when you use the customized user role to access the Masteriyo account page or resource, such as the Masteriyo Dashboard Menu, without permission. Please let us know which role you are using to create the certificate.

If you want more details, please check this documentation: https://docs.masteriyo.com/faqs/account-or-dashboard-error.

If you use any customized role, please ensure it has the Masteriyo instructor or site administrator role to prevent such issues.

    Regards!

    hi

i updated all plugins, but not the WordPress itself. It is still the same. I have a other wp system as well , has the same issue.

do you have a manual step to check or update the permissions for that certs add on. I think some db may not updated correctly?

    thanks

    Hi @mingewang,

The error message confirms that the issue is related to role permissions. Our upcoming update will handle both custom and default role permissions. We recommend waiting for this update, which will be released in a few days. After updating the Masteriyo plugin, please let us know if you are still facing the same issue, and we will assist you further.

    Regards!
