    I have a new site in staging, and am unable to add new fields or rearrange existing ones. Does not matter which template I use. If I start with a blank form, I cannot add any fields.

    It’s not a browser settings issue, I’ve tried Chrome, Brave, and Edge, on multiple computers. I’m thinking it’s a WordPress setting for this site, as there are two other sites that I can edit forms fine. But I don’t know what setting could disable this. Any help?

    I had exactly the same problem and used WP Debugging to determine that it was because I had selected a Site language of English (UK) rather than English (United States) in my WP Settings. As soon as I reset to the English (United States) all worked fine!

    Scratch that about Site Language. Drag and Drop in WP Forms only works when WP Debugging is activated!

    I found that it was a plugin called Softaculous Pro that was causing the problem. Removed that and all is working fine. Thanks

    There was an update, and now it’s working. Didn’t make any other changes.
